Booking questions
How do I book a room at The Happiness Farm?
Choose your dates on this page, pick a room and send the booking form. We check every booking personally and email you to confirm it. There is no online card payment.
How do I pay for my stay?
Once we confirm your room, we ask for a 50% advance by bank transfer or mBOB. The balance is due 15 days before you arrive. All bills are in Bhutanese ngultrum (Nu).
What does a room cost per night?
Rates are per room per night, room only: Twin Room Nu 3,105, Suite Nu 4,255 and Family Suite Nu 5,175. Prices exclude a 10% service charge, and we do not charge GST.
Are meals included?
No. Rates are room only. Breakfast is Nu 600, lunch Nu 700 and dinner Nu 800 per person, and you can add meals when you book. Our meals are organic and farm-to-table, made with produce from our farms in Paro and the Punakha Valley.
Which room is best for a family with children?
The Family Suite, with a queen and a single bed for up to three guests. An extra mattress is Nu 1,265 per night. Meals are free for children under one, half price for ages one to seven, and full price from age eight.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations within 20 days of arrival are charged 50% of the invoice, and within 10 days 100%. A no-show is charged 100%. Please cancel in writing by email or WhatsApp.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 11:00 am and check-out is by 10:00 am.
Can you arrange an airport transfer or a guide?
Yes. A Paro airport pick-up or drop-off is Nu 3,000 per trip, and a local guide is Nu 2,500 per day.
Can we book for a large group?
Yes. One room fits up to three guests, so please WhatsApp us on +975 77606162 and we will book several rooms together. For big groups we can also pitch tents on the farm.
