Disability and Accessibility Policy

The Happiness Farm, Paro, Bhutan · Version 2026 · Reviewed every year

How we make The Happiness Farm welcoming and accessible for guests of all abilities.

Our commitment

At The Happiness Farm, everyone is welcome. We want guests of all abilities, including people with disabilities, to enjoy the farm, its views and its food. This policy explains how we make our facilities and services accessible.

1. Getting around

  • Main areas: the entrance, restrooms, common areas and dining areas are designed for wheelchair access. For dining, we make special arrangements where needed, so please let us know in advance
  • Paths and trails: paths around the farm are maintained so guests with limited mobility can move around safely and easily

2. Help and support

  • Trained staff: our team is trained to help guests with disabilities and is always available
  • Tell us what you need: please share any needs before you arrive or during your stay, so we can be ready for you

3. Service animals

Trained service animals are welcome, in line with the law. Please tell us in advance if you are bringing one.

4. Events and activities

Our events and farm activities are planned with accessibility in mind. Where an activity is not suitable, we offer an alternative nearby. Please tell us about any access needs when you book.

5. Information

We explain our accessibility features to every guest at check-in, and our staff are trained to answer any questions about access.

6. Feedback

We welcome feedback on accessibility. You can reach us by phone, WhatsApp, email or through our website, and we use what you tell us to keep improving.

7. Review

This policy is reviewed every year and updated based on guest feedback and good practice in accessibility.
